Amendra Singh was admitted as a lawyer in NSW in 1992.
He began practising as a barrister in 2005. Amendra has extensive experience in appearing as an advocate before the main courts in NSW, in providing advice on law, evidence and prospects of success; and in drafting legal documents.
Before being admitted as a barrister, Amendra worked for some seven years as a senior criminal lawyer with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions(NSW) – the Office that prosecutes serious crime in NSW.
Between 1997 and 1999, Amendra worked as a Senior Prosecuting Lawyer with the Workcover Authority.
From 1993 to 1997, Amendra worked for the Department of Industrial Relations as a Prosecuting Lawyer, Legal Officer and Acting Deputy Registrar.
Although Amendra will accept briefs in a number of areas, depending on his availability, his main areas of practice are criminal law, civil litigation, family law and employment and discrimination law.
